Founded in 1974, the International Center of Photography (ICP) is both a museum and one of the largest schools of photography in the world. Exhibitions, collections, publications, workshops, seminars, symposia, and certificate and degree programs are among the complementary activities that make ICP dynamic and unique among photographic institutions. ICP's mission is to present photography's vital and central place in contemporary culture, and to lead in interpretation of issues central to its development.
