The Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) opened in May 2005 and is dedicated to the exploration of religion and art in the Judeo-Christian tradition. It began as a small gallery in the American Bible Society and expanded into its current form after a 1.8 million dollar renovation.

Previous exhibitions have included "Coming Home!: Self Taught Artists, the Bible, and the American South", and "The Next Generation: Contemporary Expressions of Faith".
